I dabbled with hosting WordPress-provided adverts on the site, to offset the hosting costs, a while ago. The return was miserably low, and the experience can’t have been pleasant for those people not willing to actually use an adblocker. I made the decision to remove all adverts for an overall better experience of visiting my site and reading my articles – and instead appealing to you directly via more rewarding, and more helpful services, like Patreon!
By choosing a monthly plan from as little as 1GBP a month, you’ll be helping me shoulder the costs of running the site – and in return your name will be placed here on the Supporters Page, appended to the bottom of articles and credited in my videos. Beyond that, I also use my Patreon area to talk more directly with my Supporters, discover their ideas and preferences, and let them contribute on topics I want to discuss for the blog.
There are two tiers of support currently, and everyone who pledges gets recognised here, and in my regular updates.
